La Iguana Golf Course sits alongside a rainforest and offers you a view of the ocean while play 18 holes of testing par-72 golf on a Ted Robinson layout that also serves as a habitat for monkeys and macaws.
Robinson designed the 6,700-yard La Iguana Golf Course to blend into its neighboring jungle, with indigenous flora such as orchids and banana trees, not to mention the fauna, including 150 bird species. Take along extra balls: One golfer apparently had his stolen right off the green on the fourth hole.
As part of the Los Suenos Marriott Ocean and Golf Resort, the La Iguana Golf Course is included in stay-and-lay packages.
